Best Micro Brews in SLC

Yes I know it's only 3.2%, but we're stuck with it and we might as well drink the best of what's available. All joking aside, in spite of the draconian Utah alcohol laws, there are some fine brewmasters in SLC. Vote on the best Lager, Pilsner, Ale, Porter and Stout in the surveys to your right...

Can you provide us with samples before we vote?

We tried, but the breweries can't ship out of state...

You should add a category for best full strength beer. Squatters makes a great IPA that is around 6%, and Uinta makes a very good Barley Wine that is around 9%. Both are only sold in bottles, but they compare favorably to the IPA and Barley Wines from breweries like Full Sail or Sierra Nevada.

Another key element to this whole thing is that Squatters provides cask-conditioned ales and nitro-draft specials, which are fantastic. They vary which brew is available, and whichever it is, it is the best choice of the evening...
